RUGBY LIONS LEAGUE APPLICATION
The Rugby Lions have submitted a detailed application to rejoin the RFU League Structure for the forthcoming season.
The application was sent as required to the Midlands League and has been Supported by the Warwickshire Rugby Union. Currently the Midlands RFU are awaiting formal clearance from the RFU due to the nature of the Lions leaving the league organisation last season.
A meeting is scheduled to be held this week when it is expected that approval will be given by the RFU for the Lions rejoining the league structure for next season.
It is not known at this stage to which league the Lions will be allotted.
