Liam returns Home

The Lions start to the season has been better than we could ever have expected; sharing top of the league with an exceptional Kingswinford outfit, with three wins in three. What better time to be announcing a significant signing (or ‘resigning’ would be more appropriate) than right now; and to that end, we are overjoyed to announce Liam Munro signed for The Lions after Saturday’s win against Moseley Oak.

The former Lions captain moved to Coventry in 2012; and has most recently been at Stourbridge RFC, who are currently sitting unbeaten and equal-top of National League 2 North. A regular in the Warwickshire team too, Liam will add experience and zest to a pack that is already proving formidable at this new ‘Midlands 1’ level.

Liam is a likable family man off the pitch; who obviously couldn’t wait to get working alongside Lions head coach Dave Addleton again. The ‘Aggy-effect’ is rightly attracting significant players to the club; and we are simply delighted that Liam has returned home to help keep our forward momentum
